LSCRTA Little Free Library
On Monday, June 25, 2018 the LaSalle County Retired Teachers Association (LSCRTA) installed its Little Free Library in front of the Dickenson House in Oglesby. The Little Free Library allows children to take and exchange books at their leisure at a time convenient for them. The Little Free Library was constructed by the LaSalle Peru High School Area Career Center and installed by a Dickenson House employee.
Milton Pope Elementary

from this year’s BUCKS FOR BOOKS program. We are looking over the lists of library materials that

Leland Elementary
Donna Inman, on right, presented Principal Chris Bicke On left)l, and Ken Harris of Leland Elementary School a check for $650.00 from the IRTA grant program. The grant funds will be used for adding to our nutrition, fitness and rhythm and dance units. The items requested are important to the mentioned units. They are mobile, allowing us to use them both indoors and outdoors.

Deb Torri delivered the Bucks for Books check directly into the hands of LPHS Principal Steve Wrobleski and Librarian/Tech Coordinator Dave Kelly! That were both extremely appreciative!
